First drowning of the season

This was the first drowning of the season that I was covering, that was on June 16th. Since then I have covered two other drownings. I usually cover about one or two a year maximum and summer has barely begun.

Old Montreal

I love walking through the streets of old Montreal and just shooting the art work found in old buildings. Shot at 40mm with my 24-70L lens.

Plan B

This is when "plan B" kicks in. An elderly person accidently drove his car into the lake. When I arrived the first of two ambulances had just arrived and police and firemen where already on site, the car is in the lake and the 2 people from the car where back in the house. Because of non existing lighting conditions a shot of the car in the lake was out of question, so I took a few shots of the first ambulance, then some of both ambulances in the driveway. This shot was done at 1/10 of a second hand held at 60mm 400iso at f2.8 and to my surprise, no camera shake!
