Had a great weekend covering the 40th Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in montreal. Lots of new material to choose from. Sebastian Vettel at the wheel of his Scuderia Ferrari, who won the race. It was the first win by Ferrari in Montreal since 2004.

Jolyon Palmer has yet to register points after the first 6 Formula 1 races of the 2017 season. The Canadian Grand Prix could be his last chance to score points.

Cyril Abiteboul, Renault F1 Team managing director is suggesting that, should things not improve, a change could be made.  Test driver Sergey Sirotkin, a 21-year-old Russian could be the man to replace Palmer.

On the morning of Thursday June 8, fans will once again be able to get up close with the F1 cars in the pits during the popular "Open House Day". Once more this year it will be possible to walk the Pit Lane at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve while the 10 teams will have their garage doors wide open and the staff will be hard at work on last minute adjustments before hitting the track the next morning.
