I will be covering the Canadian Grand Prix, part of the Formula One Championship at the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal, from June 9 until the final race on June 12.  I will have fresh photos form the open house on Thursday until the race on Sunday.

Accidents 

For legal reasons, be careful about saying one vehicle 'hit' another. Err on the side of caution and use collided with/was in collision with. (Collisions involve two or more moving objects; they cannot involve something stationary.) 

 

 

 

Spring photography

Many of the scenes I capture are only accessible by foot. It may be April 13, but I still need my snowshoes to head out to the lake to get some fresh photos of the newly arrived Canada Geese.

I needed a photo to illustrate an article about the "cumulative liabilities of federal, provincial and municipal governments"  which by the way comes to $243,000 for each Canadian tax payer.

Beaver lodge

A beaver lodge made from sticks and mud. One of the primary reasons beavers build dams is to surround their lodge with water for protection from predators.
