Love the fine grain and sharpness of this B&W slide film, sent to Dr5 labs in Denver Colorado for development, they do a great job.

Ilford SFX 200

The Montreal Clock Tower located at the end of Victoria pier in the old port of Montreal. Shot on Ilford SFX 200 at 200 iso with a red ir 630 screw on filter. On my days off, I love to shoot a roll of 35mm for fun.

Black bear

I was shooting this scene of a bear feeding her 3 young cubs with my 70- 200mm lens on my Canon 1D Mark II. When  decided to get a little closer the mother bear opened her mouth to warn me not to get closer, so I just had time for this one shot at 200mm then back away to leave her alone.  You need to spend a lot of time outdoors and patience for these type of images, but it is well worth the effort.

Mode & Design festival 2014

Mode & Design Festival: It seems like this years edition, everyone with a video camera or blog received a photo/video pass. Luckly  Thursday night Paul was there to keep the troups in order, no easy task but he always succeds. Then there's Agence QMI's photographer who can't sit still for more than 5 minutes, so once again I have a few shots of the back of his ball head poping up in the corner of my photos. What a contrast to the Gazette's photographer (and the other photographers as well) who does his job without getting in anyones way.
This year edition of Mode & design festival is held at the  Place des Festival beside Place des Arts.

Montreal's Mode & Design Festival. I've been covering this event every summer since 2009. This years edition takes place at Place des Festival beside Place des Arts. The outdoor fashion shows are free and open to all and a great place for photographers of all caliber to shoot some images of fashion shows. The Mode & Design Festival takes place form August 20th to 23rd.

The Moda Sotto le Stelle outdoor fashion in Montreal is always a lot of fun to cover, but this year it was under a rainy wet sky from start to end that the fashion show was held! I prefer the under the stary summer night editions.
