The Supreme Court of Canada, a pillar of Canadian democracy. Canada's highest court. It is the final court for appeal of all litigants, whether individuals or governemnts. Ernest Cormier, a renowed architect from Montreal conceived the design for the Superior court building in the 1930s in the modern geometric spirit of art deco.
